How long does a project take?

Most projects run 3–5 months from the initial intake meeting to final delivery. The biggest factor in timeline is communication. The more available and responsive your team is, the faster we can move. We'll always agree on a realistic timeline upfront.

What will we actually receive at the end?

It depends on the service, but deliverables typically include written reports, ready-to-use tools (interview guides, evaluation forms, survey instruments, training materials), and a presentation walkthrough for your leadership or staff. You'll always know exactly what you're getting before we start.

Do we need to have everything figured out before reaching out?

Not at all. Part of what we do in Phase 1 is help you get clear on the problem. If you know something isn't working, such as hiring feels inconsistent, turnover is high, training isn't sticking, that's enough to start the conversation.

Is there a cost?

NMS provides accessible consulting services at no cost. Because our services are offered at no charge, there are limits to the scope of work we can take on. We'll be transparent about what's feasible during our initial intake conversation so expectations are clear from the start.

Do you offer services in Spanish?

Yes. We offer bilingual support in English and Spanish, and bring a culturally responsive approach to every engagement. If your organization serves or employs Spanish-speaking communities, we can make sure the work reflects that.

Who do you typically work with?

We work primarily with nonprofits and small-to-mid-size organizations that want to improve their people practices but may not have a dedicated HR team or the budget for a large consulting firm. If that sounds like you, we'd love to connect!
